The cottage was absolutely adorable with cute decorations reflecting the owner's toy making hobby. The bed was very comfy and there were games available in the sitting area. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking. Plus, fresh milk for tea and coffee was provided. The location was great, with easy access to the nearby attractions and a nice pub just around the corner.
There was a bit of confusion about getting the key upon arrival, but it was quickly resolved. The space around the bed was limited, although manageable.

The location of the cottage is perfect, situated near Sheffield and on the edge of the stunning Peak District National Park. The beds and sofas are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The shower in the modern and clean bathroom is excellent, providing a refreshing start to the day. The kitchen is well-equipped, making self-catering a breeze. Guests can also enjoy the added amenities such as Sky with Netflix on a good-sized TV, useful books and games, and even a map for exploring the area. there is a welcoming pub just a stone's throw away, offering delicious food and a great selection of real ales.
The only minor inconvenience is the limited parking, with only space available in front of the cottage on the kerb. However, this did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cottage nestled in a storybook location. The cottage, known affectionately as Toy Cottage, was absolutely adorable. Its cozy ambiance and delightful decorations truly made me feel at home. The owner, who used to run a toy shop, incorporated her handmade toys into the cottage's decor, adding a touch of whimsy. The two-room layout with a sitting area, kitchen, and dining space in one room, and a bedroom and bathroom in the other, provided all the necessary amenities in a compact space. Despite the limited room on each side of the bed, it was still comfortable and manageable. The well-stocked kitchen had everything I needed, from pots and pans to plates and cups. The sitting area also had games to enjoy, along with a large TV for entertainment. I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of fresh milk for making tea and coffee.
